For availability of products, store hours or simple questions, feel free to call our store during our open hours and we'll most likely answer the phone (unless we stepped out for coffee... but we'll be right back!) For more complex questions, such as shipping quotes or bulk orders, send us an email. However, use whatever means you're comfortable with and we'll get you to the right person.

Domestic shipping is $3.  Orders usually ship within 1 business day by USPS Priority Mail and will arrive to most destinations within 2-3 days. You’ll receive a confirmation email once we’ve sent your order.   

We are happy to work with you to determine the cost of shipping to your international address! Just send us an email (info(at)localtakesf.com) with your address and the types of items you'd like to purchase and we'll send you a shipping quote (usually within just an hour or so).

Prefer to pick your order up in person? Choose Local Pickup at Checkout and you get to come by the store during business hours to pick up your order at your convenience! This option is FREE and orders are usually available for pickup within an hour or two.


Not happy with your purchase? We'd love to help you find the right thing! Within 14 days of receiving your item(s), you can exchange it for any other item(s) or a store credit, to be used at any time in the future. 

To be eligible for an exchange:
-Your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging and/or have it's original tag(s).
-Proof of purchase is required.
-Edible goods are final sale only.

For in-store returns 
Online Returns/exchanges are accepted in our store location. Please provide the order confirmation that was sent to you, so we can process your return. Please note that store credit can only be redeemed in-store and will not be available for online purchase.


If you would like a gift message to be included, please type your message in the comments during checkout and we'll hand write it on a card for you.
