Bookend - Made from the GG Bridge

This bookend was cut from the cap portion found at the top of each section of the original Golden Gate Bridge handrail. Each one is brushed clean of debris and rough edges and given a fresh coat of International Orange. Some pieces may contain characteristic weathering in the steel from decades of exposure to the ocean wind and salt air of the Bay. Weighs Approximately 2.0 lbs.

This paperweight was made from a small piece of the original Golden Gate Bridge. It comes from a section of the historic handrail material that was replaced in 1993.
