Make Your Own Rainbow

Hearts and Rainbows

The last week of June, aka Pride week, is usually our favorite time of the year.  The city is filled with people arriving from out of town to celebrate with their LGBTQ family. Everyone is smiling and happy, and its always a week filled with love.

This year of course things are looking a little different; however we're determined to create our own joy this Pride week and spread it around to as many people as possible! We're so grateful for the small steps we've been able to take like being able to open last week, enjoying a glass of wine on the sidewalk of our fave restaurants and seeing people move safely around the city wearing their masks.

This week has always been about love, happiness and acceptance so lets continue to work together to keep that tradition alive!

Although the Parade is not happening, there are still tons of virtual events. Check out the SF Pride website for the full line-up.

All the colors of the rainbow

It takes all the colors of the rainbow to make us happy. Do you need a little more rainbow in your life? We've got everything you need. Rainbows make everybody smile.

Green Apple Books

We never got to properly announce the opening of our pop-up shop at Green Apple Books in the Inner Richmond! Our first day was March 12 and five days later, the city shut down. Green Apple Books opened back up last Monday so now you can browse for books while picking up local gifts.

This is the first time Local Take has been in the Richmond and we love it! Working with all the folks at Green Apple has been really amazing and we've received such a warm reception from the entire neighborhood.

Thanks for having us!
